Latenight Honeymoon

London four-piece Latenight Honeymoon feature singer/guitarist Ted on guitar, bassist Alfie, drummer Connor, and lead guitarist Tristan.  We first saw the arrival of the band in the form of their debut singles ‘Sunlight’ & ‘For Heaven’s Sake.’ Mixed by Mike Fraser (Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Franz Ferdinand) released on the first day of Spring 2020 to deliberately state a new lease of life from a band who prior, only had a couple of demos available online and at live shows. These demos & a growing reputation of a ferocious live act led to shows made a real impact on the UK indie scene, playing an eclectically-influenced, guitar-focused sound to crowds up and down the country supporting Bloc Party, Bang Bang Romeo, King No-One; performing at The Isle of Wight Festival and Truck Festival, as well as being championed by such music media outlets as BBC Introducing, Clash magazine, and Radio X.

Cue pandemic hysteria. As musicians who had been attempting to make ends meet, lockdown was served as a double-edged sword. The very cause of what at times had felt like an insurmountable battle, also forced them into making use of the tools they had at their disposal. Amongst these tools; a plethora of material that had been coerced throughout their heavy gigging calendar. Lockdown was a perfect opportunity to follow up their debut release. This cumulated in the form of Double EP B.S.T. [Pt i] & D.S.T. [Pt ii] self-recorded & produced by the band internally. The EP received support from Radio X pioneer John Kennedy, who has supported the band from their inception playing ‘Afterglow’ on his XPOSURE show for 2 consecutive weeks.

Latest releases ‘Death by Hologram' & ‘Josephine’s Promise’ mixed by Grammy award winning Mark Rankin (Bombay Bicycle Club, Queens of the Stone Age, Foster The People) are out now. In addition to which the band’s association with Bloc Party continues with them appearing on Russel Lissack recent recording of ‘Audio Transmission’.

"Following a 2019 that included mainstream festival slots & Bloc Party support, Latenight Honeymoon release a very 2020 video, taking the bedroom-music-industry concept to the next level. Fusing a modern summery sound with a nineties meets naughties influence/" The Zine
"A sprawling anthem with retro-undertones and shimmering, melodic vocals. It is a positive track, begging you to fall in love and listen to the band as the romance unfolds. A delightful cosmopolitan cocktail of all your favourite bands intertwined."  Indie Central Music
"Starry-eyed stadium sized ballad from London newcomers" Gigslutz
